Balanand Karat

SVP - Finance and Accounts

Balanand Karat is a finance professional with over 15 years of experience. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Vice President • Finance And Accounts at Medi Assist. Balanand joined our organization in March 2013 and has since been an integral member of the Finance and Management team. Throughout his tenure, he has successfully delivered on numerous critical projects, including but not limited to the integration of acquired entities, automation of the revenue recognition function, and the implementation of S4HANA.

Balanand holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from Calicut University, as well as an Integrated Professional Competence certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI). Additionally, he is an alumnus of IIM Kozhikode, specializing in Strategy Management. Previously, Balanand was associated with Iffco Tokio GIC and TCS.
